These Terms apply to our website https://mastermindz.co, our free trial classes, our paid live online classes and all communication with us (together, the "Services"). By booking a trial, paying fees or using the Services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1Eligibility
- The Services are designed for children aged 5 to 15 ("Student").
- Only a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or above ("Parent", "you") may book a trial, enrol a Student, pay fees or accept these Terms.
- By enrolling a Student, you confirm that you have the legal authority to act for the Student and that you consent to the Student taking part in the Services.
- You are responsible for the Student's use of the Services and for making sure the Student follows these Terms.
2Our services
- MasterMindz provides live, online, 1-on-1 classes for children in subjects including Chess, Coding, Maths and Vedic Maths, Abacus, Rubik's Cube, Music and Languages.
- Classes are taught by independent tutors selected, trained and approved by MasterMindz.
- Classes take place on video conferencing platforms chosen by us, such as Zoom or Google Meet. You need a laptop, desktop or tablet with a camera, microphone and a stable internet connection.
- Course content, class length, frequency and tutor are agreed at enrolment. We may change a tutor for quality, availability or safety reasons, and we will inform you before the next class.
- We aim to help every Student improve, but learning outcomes depend on the Student's effort, practice and attendance. We do not guarantee any specific rating, grade, exam result or competition result.
3Free trial classes
- We offer one free trial class per Student per subject so that you can assess the tutor and our teaching approach.
- Trials are booked through WhatsApp, phone, email or our website, and are subject to tutor availability.
- A Parent should be available near the Student during the trial and for a short discussion at the end.
- There is no obligation to enrol after a trial, and no payment details are needed to book one.
- We may decline or cancel a trial booking, for example where a booking is a duplicate or the Student is outside our age range.
4Fees and payments
- Fees depend on the subject, package and number of classes, and are confirmed to you in writing before you pay. Fees are charged in the currency stated on your invoice.
- Fees are paid in advance for a package of classes. Classes are scheduled only after payment is received.
- Payments are made through the secure payment links, bank transfer or payment methods we provide. Any bank, card or currency conversion charges are your responsibility.
- Classes in a package must be used within the validity period stated in your enrolment confirmation. Unused classes lapse after that period unless we agree in writing to extend it.
- We may revise our fees for future packages. A change will not affect a package you have already paid for.
- If a payment fails, is reversed or is disputed without first contacting us, we may pause classes until the matter is resolved.
5Refund and cancellation policy
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In summary:
- You may cancel your enrolment at any time by writing to contact@mastermindz.co or messaging us on WhatsApp.
- A refund may be requested after the Student has completed at least 5 classes.
- Refunds apply only to unused, prepaid classes. Classes already conducted are not refundable.
- The refund is 70% of the fee paid for the unused classes.
- Approved refunds are processed within 7 days of the request and paid to the original payment method, unless agreed otherwise.
- Classes marked as a no-show under Section 6 count as conducted classes.
Not happy with your tutor? Please tell us first. We will try to resolve the issue, including by offering a different tutor at no extra cost.
6Rescheduling and attendance
- Classes run at the times agreed at enrolment, in your local time zone.
- Rescheduling by you: You may reschedule a class at no cost by informing us at least 6 hours before the class starts. Each Student may reschedule up to 2 classes per calendar month, subject to tutor availability.
- Late cancellation or no-show: If you cancel with less than 6 hours' notice, or the Student does not join within 15 minutes of the start time, the class is marked as conducted and deducted from your package.
- Late joining: If the Student joins late, the class ends at the scheduled time.
- Rescheduling by us: If a tutor cancels or cannot conduct a class, we will reschedule it at a time convenient to you at no cost, or credit the class back to your package.
- Technical issues: If a class is cut short by a technical problem on our side, we will make up the lost time. Problems with your own device or internet connection are not covered.
- Long breaks: For planned breaks such as holidays or exams, tell us in advance and we will pause your package for up to 30 days.

- Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the fees you paid for the package in which the claim arose.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud.
11Suspension and termination
- You may end your enrolment at any time as set out in Section 5.
- We may suspend or end the Services, with notice, if fees are not paid, if a Student or Parent seriously or repeatedly breaches the code of conduct, or if continuing would put a Student, tutor or staff member at risk.
- If we end the Services for reasons other than your breach, we will refund 100% of the fee for any unused classes.
- If we end the Services because of your serious breach, any refund will be handled under the Refund Policy.
- Sections on payments, intellectual property, limitation of liability and governing law continue after termination.

- If a dispute arises, please contact us first. We will try to resolve it within 30 days.
- Any dispute that cannot be resolved this way will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
13Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page. Changes will not affect a package you have already paid for, unless the change is required by law. Continuing to use the Services after an update is posted means you accept the updated Terms.
