How MasterMindz collects, uses and protects information about parents and children.

We never sell your data Parents stay in control

This Privacy Policy explains how MASTER MINDZ, operating under the brand name MasterMindz ("MasterMindz", "we", "us" or "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use our website https://mastermindz.co, contact us on WhatsApp, social media, email or phone, or enrol your child in our live online classes (together, the "Services").

MASTER MINDZ is a micro enterprise registered in India under Udyam Registration Number UDYAM-MH-18-0307823, with its registered office at A 17, 3rd Floor, Parimal Bhandup CHS, H.D. Koparkar Marg, Nahur East, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400042, India.

Our Services are designed for children aged 5 to 15. Children do not register or pay on their own. A parent or legal guardian enrols the child and gives consent on the child's behalf. By using the Services, you confirm that you are a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or above, and you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1Information we collect

a) Parent or guardian information

  • Full name, mobile or WhatsApp number, email address and country of residence
  • Relationship to the child
  • Messages, voice notes and call notes you share with our team
  • Billing details such as billing name, address and invoice records

b) Child information

  • Child's first name, age or date of birth, school grade and country
  • Subject of interest, current skill level and learning goals
  • Class attendance, homework, assessments, progress reports and tutor feedback
  • Images, voice and video of the child as they appear in live classes and class recordings

We collect only the child information we need to teach the child well. We do not ask children for home addresses, school names, photographs or contact details.

c) Payment information

Payments are processed by third-party payment gateways and banks. We receive confirmation of payment, the amount, date, transaction reference and the last few digits of the card or account where provided. We do not collect or store full card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs or net-banking passwords.

d) Class recordings

Live classes, including free trial classes, may be recorded through our video conferencing platform. Recordings may include the video, audio, screen share and chat of the child, the tutor and any parent present.

e) Usage and technical data

  • IP address, device type, operating system, browser type and approximate location
  • Pages visited, time spent, links clicked and the website or advertisement that referred you
  • Interaction data from our advertisements on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, such as ad clicks and message starts

2How we use information

We use personal data only for these purposes:

  1. To respond to your enquiry and schedule a free trial class
  2. To match your child with a suitable tutor and plan lessons for the child's level
  3. To deliver live 1-on-1 classes and share homework, progress reports and certificates
  4. To process fees, issue invoices and handle refunds
  5. To send class reminders, schedule changes and service updates on WhatsApp, email, SMS or phone
  6. To review class recordings for quality assurance, tutor training, child safety and dispute resolution
  7. To improve our courses, website and customer support
  8. To measure and improve our advertising on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
  9. To send offers and updates about our courses, where you have not opted out
  10. To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and to protect the rights and safety of our students, tutors and business

We may use automated tools, including AI-based transcription and analysis tools, to review recordings of trial and regular classes. This helps us assess teaching quality and give feedback to tutors. These tools are not used to make decisions about your child that have legal or similarly significant effects.

We do not use children's data for targeted advertising or behavioural profiling, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.

3Parental consent and children's data

  • Verifiable consent: We collect a child's information only after a parent or guardian contacts us and agrees to this Privacy Policy. Consent is recorded when the parent books a trial or enrols, through WhatsApp, email or our enrolment form.
  • Parent in control: Parents may review, correct or delete their child's information, or withdraw consent, at any time by writing to contact@mastermindz.co. Withdrawing consent will stop future classes, because we cannot teach without the child's information.
  • Safe classrooms: Classes are 1-on-1 with a tutor approved by MasterMindz. Classes run only on our approved platforms using links we send to the parent. Tutors are not permitted to contact a child privately outside scheduled classes, or to ask a child for personal information.
  • No public display: We do not publish a child's name, image, video or work on our website, social media or advertisements without separate written consent from the parent. Parents may withdraw this consent at any time.
  • Communication goes to parents: Schedules, payments, reports and offers are sent to the parent or guardian, not to the child.

If we learn that we have collected a child's personal data without a parent's consent, we will delete it promptly.
